Biography:

I started my programming "career" in Berlin in 2014 as co-founder and first developer on the team for the start-up Magnus, the Shazam for the art world (www.magnus.net), where I learned backend development and working with big data.

In late 2016 I left the company to pursue a PhD at the Chair of Logistics Management at the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management (www.whu.edu/klm) near Koblenz, Germany. My focus lies on applying Machine Learning and Optimization methods to use cases in the field of urban last mile delivery services. Within the scope of my research I collaborate with MIT's Center for Transportation and Logistics (ctl.mit.edu) and it's Megacity Logistics Lab (megacitylab.mit.edu) in particular.
