With rise in traffic, water scarcity, waste disposal, air pollution now development of smart cities is needed the most. Smart cities will ensure socioeconomic progress with sustainable development. Technologies such as IOT, AI, Mixed Reality, and Big Data will play a key role in the implementing the operation of smart city.

The focus of the talk is on how python helps in building smart cities. Thanks to its versatility, Python's use and adoption has changed over the last decade. Python is now a popular language among the data communities. Throughout the talk, we will discuss various python libraries used for data visualization, analysis, and prediction which assist in execution of smart city project. The presentation will provide an overview of importance of python in projects ensuring public safety, energy optimization, traffic management, etc. You will also see the integration of IOT with Python in the talk.

I am currently, a final year undergraduate student. My passion is to solve problems by leveraging the power of data. I've been exploring data science and machine learning for about 2 years now. Before being introduced to the world of ML, I was into back-end web development. I'm a true Pythonista. I have worked in multiple cross continental firms. I've interest in geospatial analysis. I love experimenting and trying out new things.
I've always believed in the fact that "everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of fear and that one should never stop trying."
